Hassan is an experienced trainer in professional, management, and leadership development who has travelled and worked in different parts of the world. His industry experience includes oil and gas, professional and career development, telecommunications, business process outsourcing and customer service. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional & Liberal Studies from University of Windsor in Canada and is TEFL-certified.
Hassan has a solid experience in a variety of management training and development courses. His specialty includes Emotional Intelligence, Problem Solving and Decision Making, Supervisory Management Skills, Communication and Interpersonal Skills, Assertiveness Skills, Time and Stress Management, Telephone Etiquette, Excellence in Customer Service, Successful Selling Skills, Rapport and Relationship Building, Key Account Management, Negotiation Skills, Business and Report Writing, Train the Trainer, Presentation Skills, to name a few.
Prior to being a corporate facilitator, Hassan started his career in Abu Dhabi, working in Business Development in the Oil & Gas industry. During this time, he focused most of his efforts on sales and marketing, from which he gained experience talking to high-profile clients, writing daily and monthly reports, being involved in effective negotiations and delivering dynamic sales presentations. Understanding and taking interest in how meetings and presentations take place within the industry, Hassan further chased his interest, by moving to Canada, taking up an offer in the telecommunications industry.
In Canada, Hassan worked as an on-field trainer where he managed and supported new employees by providing workshops and training seminars on customer-care services, phone-call etiquette and successful sales pitches. He later moved to a more senior role where his responsibilities included monitoring and managing his team’s performance and facilitating individual development plans. This in turn led the development of his team to reach individual and team targets, contributing to overall organisational success.
After achieving this managerial role in training and development, Hassan pursued further career development, by acquiring a TEFL certificate and moving to China. During this time, he entered the corporate training arena, and began delivering English training programmes to various multi-national companies. Having a strong managerial and training background couples with his ability to speak Arabic, Hassan was also delegated to train and develop new international trainers, this included designing, developing and delivering on-boarding programmes. This experience gave him the opportunity to further enhance his skills in writing new training materials as well as tailoring existing programmes to suit different training needs.
Hassan is very energetic in his training approach and uses thought-provoking activities and compelling story-telling techniques to stimulate creative learning experiences. Hassan speaks three languages: English, Arabic, and intermediate-level Mandarin Chinese. Ever since his return in U.A.E., he has conducted trainings for government and private organisations both in English and Arabic language.
