Laekha is a dynamic individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with expertise in HR and project management, in a client-oriented environment.  She is an effective leader with tenacity and a positive ‘can do attitude‘. Laekha’s career started in the corporate world in 2003 working in Human Resources Management in London, UK at a range of investment banks – Goldman Sachs, J P Morgan, Lloyds Bank, HSBC and Citibank. Laekha has gained a breadth of experience over the years working in different areas of HR – learning and development, re-engineering business processes, delivering company-wide employee inductions and project management. Within learning and development, she has analysed training needs, developed training policies and delivered training to senior managers. On the project management side, a key achievement was the delivery of “Wellness Centres” for Goldman Sachs in locations worldwide.

Following on from this, Laekha attended a course at London School of Economics in 2006 in HR and employment relations, and then qualified as an HR practitioner with CIPD in the UK in 2013 before moving to Abu Dhabi in 2015. Having worked as a Human Resources professional with experience in training and project management for many years, Laekha has gained leadership skills, organisation skills, time management and planning skills.

Academically, Laekha has a Master’s degree in Science (Family Resource Management) and an honours degree in Integrated Science. Laekha is a certified Associate HR professional with Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) UK.

Since moving to Abu Dhabi in 2015, she has worked in a teaching environment within a large educational service provider where she has used her interpersonal skills, communication skills and training skills in successful implementation of integrated learning plans, including one to one coaching, classroom-based training, on-the-job training and immersions, and teambuilding activities.  Laekha has a passion to see people learn and develop, she believes that it’s possible to learn something new every day and you never stop growing. Laekha has established herself as a trainer and facilitator working across industries running short and long term training workshops and programmes.
