Natalie’s career began in the academic field in Abu Dhabi at both secondary and tertiary levels and worked her way up to eventually establishing and managing Select Training and Management Consultancy. She understands the importance of developing the younger generations today and ensuring companies setting up or operating in the UAE and wider region also have enough cultural awareness to succeed. After six years as an academic, she joined the corporate world where she not only delivers her training and consultancy to the highest standards which are memorable, but also paves the way for young Emirati, Omani, Qatari, Kuwaiti, Bahraini and Saudi nationals to lead and inspire the generations to come.

Academically, she holds a BA (QTS – Qualified Teacher Status) from London University and undertook further studies, obtaining CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English Language to Adults) from the Men’s Higher Colleges of Technology, Abu Dhabi, and her MA in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and Applied Linguistics, from Surrey University, England. Natalie is also an NLP Master Practitioner and a certified Lead Assessor for ISO 9000.

Natalie is also an Executive Coach for ‘C-suite’ executives. Her sessions focus on developing an understanding of the broader business context in which the Executive operates, with particular emphasis on key business initiatives directly relevant to the Executive. Natalie believes that successful Executive Coaching links business focus with human processes by closely aligning the Executive’s development with critical business needs. She has developed Executives from UAE and other Gulf Countries, Australia, USA, India and the UK who work for fortune 500 companies.

Today, she trains a wide range of leadership, management and communication workshops owing to her wide exposure to various industries. She has worked closely with government, private and multi-national companies, including some blue chip organisations, helping them to build their competency frameworks, update their job descriptions and carry out comprehensive Training Needs Analysis (TNA). She has been involved in designing and delivering CAMS Assessor and Verifier Workshops for Oil and Gas Sectors since 2008 and worked towards getting these workshops accreditation from the ILM. Abu Dhabi Oil and Gas companies often call on Natalie for advice on best practise for the implementation of CAMS.

Recently, she has spoken at international conferences in the region on topics such as ‘Diversity in the Workplace’, ‘The Impact of Body Language in Business’, ‘ How Customer Service Impacts the Business’ to name a few.

As well as delivering management and leadership skills courses, Natalie also specialises in delivering Professional Business Writing courses; becoming well known for helping delegates overcome the difficulties they face when writing letters, memos, e-mails and reports, organising teambuilding with senior management, being a guest speaker during company ‘away days’ and working closely with Emiratis, coaching and mentoring them. One of the hallmarks of her reputation with clients is her ability to transfer skills to the team throughout the implementation process. With her relaxed and pragmatic approach, she works well with organisations to identify their vision for the future and helps bring that vision into reality.
